State of Mind

[Yuri_K]

An award-winning documentary that offers rare insight into North Korean society - by following two young female gymnasts and their families for over eight months in the lead up to the Mass Games, the socialist realism spectacular that involves a cast of thousands in the biggest and most elaborate performance on earth.

The significance of this is explained best by their Korean minder then who said, "you have to understand, no one has ever been allowed to see, let alone film, what you are witnessing".
