Call for Panelists: EACS 2016 St. Petersburg

Dear Sinology Enthusiasts,

I propose a panel tentatively entitled "Traditional Chinese Cosmology: A Few Concepts Revisited" for the EACS 2016 Biennial Conference in St. Petersburg. My research concerns cultural history of colors in ancient China and I will address the five cardinal colors based on the correlative numerological scheme Wuxing. I am looking for paper presenters working on topics related to Chinese cosmology or numerology, e.g. Yin-Yang, Four Directions, Five Phases, Eight Trigrams, Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve Earthly Branches, etc. All disciplinary perspectives are welcome, including (but not limited to) astronomy, linguistics, philosophy, history, anthropology, archaeology, literature, political science, religious and cultural studies.
