Вот что нам разослал наш вайбань (международный отдел). я только выбросил личную информацию и адресанта. Там, кстати, и про оформление виз в ГК и Макао.
Dear foreign colleagues,
How are you? Here is a letter to remind you about the visa extension.
As some teachers' Residence Permit expire in early June, it's about time for you to start preparing the RP extension documents. Attached is a list of the expiration date of your RP. Please read it carefully.
For those teachers who won't renew your contract, you only need to return your Foreign Expert's Certificate to me before you leave our university.
For those teachers who will renew your contract with our University, please contact your college and the Personnel Office to sign your new contract and buy the new Health Insurance. Later I will need them to extend your RP. And here below is some new policy:
1. Since April 2008, the Foreign Expert's Certificate will be issued and extended by Xiamen Foreign Experts Affairs Bureau, not by the Provincial Bureau in Fuzhou any more. And the procedure time will be shortened to one week. And after we extend the Foreign Expert's Certificate, we need one more week to extend your RP in the Xiamen Exit&Entry Administration Dept. So the whole procedure takes two weeks now. (In the past it took nearly one month.)
Therefore, you should bring the documents to me two weeks before the expiration date of your RP: passport, Foreign Expert's Certificate, 4 pictures, new Contract and new Health Insurance(these two things I can also get from the Personnel Office), new Address form (you should made it in the local police station). If some teachers want to leave earlier for summer vacation before RP expires, they should bring me the documents two weeks before they leave.
2. From this year, accompanying family members need to provide a Relationship Certificate when applying for visa or extend RP, such as Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate. If this certificate is issued by foreign authorities, it should be confirmed by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country. ...
3. As the Beijing Olympic is coming and too many people apply for visa to China, if you want to apply for a new visa in this period, no matter Z visa, F visa or L visa, you can only apply for it through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country. The visa office in HK and Macao has stopped temporarily issuing visas to foreigners, except those who live or work for long time in HK or Macao.
Please make sure that you extend the RP in time. And in case you have any question, feel free to ask me.
