Please understand that if you would like to apply for a scholarship to study at our university, you’ll need to consult and apply directly with the Chinese embassy or consulate or Confucius Institute in your country, and do not need to contact us.
How to apply for Scholarships?
You can apply for 3 types of scholarships, including:
1) Chinese government scholarship
You yourself should submit application to the relevant office or organization of your own country that is authorized to take in scholarship applications or to the Chinese embassy (consulate) in your home country between January and April. Please refer to

2) Confucius Institute Scholarship
For details, please refer to the web site of Hanban,
http://cis.chinese.cn 3) Beijing International Students scholarship(only offer 1 year tuition fee)
Applicants who plan to study for B.A., M.A. or Ph.D degrees at BLCU can download the scholarship application form from the website
http://www.blcu.edu.cn/lzb/lx/download.htm, then mail, email or submit personally all the following study-application documents to our office before December 20, 2013. Applicants who fail to be awarded the scholarship by the scholarship assessment committee of BLCU should study self-sponsored. If applicants give up the study, the application documents and application fee will not be returned.

3. Academic diploma: a photocopy of the applicant’s latest academic diploma or certificate of university education;
4. Academic record: the original transcript of academic record (a copy is not acceptable);
5. Reference letter from the applicant's former teacher；
6. A photocopy of the applicant’s passport;
7. A photocopy of the ID of the applicant’s emergency contact (the person you specified on the second page of the current form);
8. A photocopy of HSK certificate;
9. A photocopy of the application fee payment receipt (for on-line payment or T/T transfer).
