BOOK SWAP: "It's gotta be done..."This is our first big attempt to bring everyone together and swap books. ANY BOOK, in any language, WILL DO: text books, children's books, sci-fi, romance novels, dictionaries, atlases AND LOTS AND LOTS OF BRAIN CANDY!
It will be held for two days, so there is NO excuse not to bring in your extra books and trade them off for something new! I have 2-3 dozen murder mysteries that I will never read again...
We will be making further announcement concerning this event. Please invite everyone you know to come and participate and meet other people... flyers and posters will be available soon!

First Photo Contest at Sol Latino: "WHERE WERE YOU ON YOUR VACATION?" Send us your best photo of your summer holidays and have the chance to win interesting prizes. Your photo will be exposed at Sol Latino from September the 20th to October the 5th 2008. Opening Party on September 20th at 7p.m.
Ah....by the way, the organization committee decided to extend the photo contest to the October 11 to give you the chance to include pictures from your October vacation as well!
Please participate in great numbers and talk about it to your friends!
Regulations of the competition:
1.- Every person can participate with only one photo.
2.- The project must be an unpublished photo or a collage of different unpublished photos
3.- The photos must be given in paper format and size 20 cm × 25 cm (8 inch × 10 inch)
4.- All the photos must be delivered at Sol Latino before September 17th 2008
5.- The organization reserves the right to declare "vacant" any of the prizes in case of not receiving enough photos.
6.- All the photos will be returned at the end of the exposition.
