Shanghai American School (SAS)
The Shanghai American School (SAS) is an independent non-profit, co-educational day school that is sponsored by the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai. SAS follows an American curriculum for grades Pre-K through 12. The high school offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB) in eleventh and twelfth grade. Shanghai American School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Maximum class size is 18. Boarding facilities are available for grades 9-12.
